I only recently discovered the beautiful works of Emma Summerton but she is everything I want to be as a photographer. Feminine, delicate and youthful works are fueled by fairy-tale fantasy.

Generally the pose of her models creates a beautiful form suited to complement the texture that Summerton's chosen lighting has created. In Image One we can see the structure of the models shoulder has enhanced contrast due to the lighting. This particular highlight places strong emphasis of the delicate and smooth texture of the models skin and therefore allows form and texture to work in harmony to provide an almost supernatural like flawlessness/glow.
