For me, Tony Gambino is absolutely the king of his field when it comes to event photography.
Gambino has created an untouchable brand. Cleverly, he is not in the business of wedding/event photography - Gambino is in the business of capturing and creating timeless memories for you and your loved ones. He sells himself incredibly well this way, not only taking photographs to capture the special moment but also going out of his way to create personal moments with his clients. If you take the time to look at his website you will notice under the 'Galleries' tab, he files his photographs under the couples names and the event that was celebrated - a personal touch and great business move. Small details such as these are what has created Gambino's brand.
In such an incredibly competitive industry, every photographer must find a way to make themselves and their work stand out. Gambino has differentiated himself from the masses with a psychological approach to marketing, a beautiful website and a lovely blog.
It doesn't hurt that he is also technically on point.
