Nick Melidonis creates some of the most tranquil images I have come across. Depictions of still waters, smooth skies and veil like waterfalls... I feel like I am in some dream like state when viewing his images. Powerful stuff.
If the skies aren't crystal clear in Melidonis' works, then they tend to be completely the opposite - full of drama and emotion. This seems to add a beautiful juxtaposition to his works. This slight element of contradiction seems to work so effortlessly for Melidonis.
